Hi from Bryan

Hi all.
Just joined the forums. Will be at the NLO on 15/9 for the day course and hopefully, weather permitting, the evening too. This will be my first visit and hopefully the first of many. I have always had an interest in the skies but never found the time to turn that interest into something more than just that.
Really lookng forward to Saturday.

Hello Bryan, hope you enjoy the course. Why not come along on Friday evening the 14th for a taster? you'd be very welcome to joinr the Imagers and Observers weekly meeting.
Takahashi TSA102S, William Optics GT81 and Zenithstar 66SD APO, 5" AE Luton Refractors, , Celestron C8 SCT, Coronado PST, Mounts: Skywatcher NEQ6 & iOptron Mini Tower Pro, Meade 5000 series EP's and other bits, Atik Titan, Meade DSI, Lumenera LM075 Mono CCD's, Canon 5D mk3, Atik manual filter wheel, Baader filters.

Friday evening is our members evening for imagers and observers.
We generally have a coffee, a chat, with a 30 minute talk about something astronomical, and if the weather is good we get out our scopes and do some imaging and observing. We start to arrive around 6-7pm generally but some will be there earlier because they haven't got anything better to do on a Friday :o)

Bryan, the main difference will be that more of the members will be there . If clear there will be quite a few private scopes and imaging set ups to drool over and if lucky have a peep through. Plenty of chat and tea/coffee.
Don't forget to bring a torch (red if possible) and warm clothing.
