Really great looking sight in the clear crisp morning. Venus with a little crescent moon sitting just below it.

It was definitely really bright in comparison with the moon so assumed we were at a full stage.
Didn't take a picture as was trying to sort out wood to keep the fire alive so it is warm when I get ghome this afternoon.

Yes I have just looked at them. Really good images with the fugipix.
Its the sort of thing we need showing for stargazing night. Maybe we could make a board of mobile phone images and encourage people to try that?

We have those big black boards in the McClean maybe we could get a couple up for the BBC night and have one with mobile and DSLR type cameras and one with CCD images on it.
