PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS POST:
The Forum has grown from a few members to now quite a lot of members most members are actual imagers, we all started from nowhere with this hobby we all started with minimal equipment and on a tight budget.

It is important that we all receive encouragement from each other weather you have just started out or weather you have been imaging for a few years we all learn new tricks and we should all pass on these tricks to each other we are not in competition with each other we are a united imaging group representing the Observatory as well as yourself.

If you are leaving comments on images that others have taken please look at the person at the level they are at and give encouraging advice, try not to come across sharply or derogatorily, bear in mind that the person may not be aware of ways to improve thier image to tweak them etc, as the old saying goes 'There are no bad paintings" Paintings give each person a different pleasure no matter weather it be Constable or Picasso like wise with colour there is no real colour that we can be certain of in the universe when it comes to RGB use the internet to seek out what colours are regularly used to construct objects for instance the well known colour for M27 is red with blue outer rim and the same with M57 use what the majority of people use it will fall into place, if you want yours pink with blue spots then just do it, but please respect each others work, it's not easy to take pictures of the universe it's even harder to complete them with processing.

An encouraging constructive comment goes a long way, like wise please be open to suggestions when a comment is placed if you disagree then don't have a hissy just express your opinion calmly and constructively.

One final note please fill in your descriptions for imagers and others to see what you have used to take your image .
Thank You
Steve
