Electricity

Gents, just a pre warning that Allan G may not be able to make it Friday and at the weekend due to his wife being in hospital. So we may need to get a 'gang' together to sling the cables etc to the marquee and tents on Friday. Allan had dropped the required gear at the Observatory today.

One thought i had was that does Allan usually bring his own ladders in his van - in which case do we have any ladders at the NLO if they are required?

This may turn out not be a problem but I thought better to be prepared on a 'just in case' basis.
.
Richard C is picking up the council tent which Allan was going to do (as Davids trailer is out of action).

The other job I may need to fill at short notice is the corralling of the lecture queue that Allan usually does.

OK well I guess 'we' (not that I am an electricity person) will have to manage with what we have there if Allan can't make it.
