Muy buenos dias, as they say here.
After finding the meteor watch live sire and being in contact with them I was directed to this site. Thanks to all.
I have watched the skies for years but only as a general observer. Recently I was bought a 150 - 1400 reflector, which I use regularly, and early this year I bought a Canon EOS 500D. The progression is natural, now I want to start astrophotography.
On order is a motor drive, and T-ring and adaptor for the Canon.
I have been experimenting with some night sky shots, and have recently located relevant software to assist, but as yet no results. Still learning. Hopefully I can get some nice shots of the milky way before it drops below my horizon.
I shall watch the forums and hopefully pick up some hints and tips.

Welcome Paul - look forward to meeting you one evening at the NLO. The folks there are really helpful, so ask whatever questions you need to.
