Another Introduction

Hi all

Just thought I'd introduce myself to the forum. I developed as interest in astronomy back in the early 90s, spending many evenings under the skies with a friend's 10' Newt. In 2004 I then converted to the dark side having decided that I wanted to image the objects I was seeing. I now image the night sky from St Austell, Cornwall using a 4' Takahashi FS-102 and SBIG ST-8300. I'm still on the steep learning curve of the CCD camera, having been used to a DSLR. I specifically like H-alpha imaging, but I am gradually branching into LRGB.

Unfortunately I couldn't make the open day today at Norman Lockyer, but looking forward to catching up with the activities of the group.

Clear (dark) skies all!

Paul
